No commentary needed except this: I told my mom to watch The Office because well, it’s the fucking best. She saw one episode and said it was…what was the word she used…”wacky”. Too wacky for her taste. She said “wacky” with this face that read “how could I have produced offspring that is actually entertained by this silliness?” Well mom, from this wacky offspring to every other person who enjoys wackiness, I give you the following:
“It feels like somebody took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears.” – Michael Scott
“There’s a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn’t that kinda the point.” – Pam Beasly
“Time is a son of a bitch.” – Oscar Martinez
“No matter how you get there or where you end up, human beings have this miraculous gift to make that place home.” – Creed Bratton
“Whenever I’m about to do something, I think, ‘would an idiot do that’ and if they would, I do not do that thing.” – Dwight Schrute
“You’re a thief of joy.” – Michael Scott
“R is one of the most menacing sounds. That’s why they call it murder not mukduk.” – Dwight Schrute
“Dwight mercy-killed Angela’s cat.” – Pam Beasley
“Who says exactly what they’re thinking? What kind of game is that?” – Kelly Kapoor
“There are always a million reasons not to do something.” – Jan Levinson
“I’m always thinking one step ahead. Like a carpenter that makes stairs.” – Andy Bernard
“Welcome to the Hotel Hell. Check-in time is now. Check-out time is never.” – Dwight Schrute
And probably my most favorite of all: “I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them.” – Andy Bernard
Here’s wishing everyone appreciation for the good old days behind them, and the good new days ahead of them.
